Glass Film

  • Glass film is a self-adhesive or static cling material applied to glass surfaces for privacy, decoration, security, energy savings, or UV protection. It is available in various styles including frosted, tinted, patterned, and safety films, each designed to suit specific functional and aesthetic needs for doors, windows, partitions, and storefronts

    • Glass films are constructed from durable polymer materials (most commonly polyester), and feature either pressure-sensitive adhesive or static cling functionality for temporary or semi-permanent application.

    • They come in rolls or sheets, are easy to cut to size, and can be installed on clean, smooth glass surfaces using water or a special installation solution.

    • The range includes clear, frosted, colored, decorative, or reflective finishes for privacy, branding, glare control, or safety reinforcement.

    • Common uses include home and office windows, bathroom doors, conference room partitions, and storefront glass panels

    • Cleaning: Wipe glass film regularly with a soft cloth or sponge and mild, non-abrasive cleaning solution; avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive scrubbers.

    • Avoid ammonia-based cleaners, which could damage film adhesive or finish over time.

    • When cleaning, use gentle pressure to avoid scratching or peeling the film edges.

    • If bubbling or curling occurs, gently press the area or consult installation guidelines for reapplication.

    • Do not place sticky tape, suction hooks, or sharp objects directly on the film to prevent peeling or wear.

    • Check periodically for loosening or edge lifting, especially after prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or humidity.
